STK wanted to say thank you to me for letting them use my legs for their poster…
So I was invited to a full STK experience with my foodie friend Farrah!STK has been on my steak house bucket list for some time, they are an international chain and what I can describe as stilettos and sirloin. The evening began with this beautiful announcement: You can have these hip flasks containing our signature cocktail and choose any cocktail off the menu…
needless to say….
Enter Bloody Gazpacho.
Garnishes: 9 beautifully done- celery, cucumber and olive.
Taste: 9 the gazpacho mix they do is delicious and nothing like i have tried before! I had to slow down drinking it because it tasted so good.
Sweat Test (credit to Parklife for the new title): 8 the waitress warned me how spicy it was going to be…but I could handle it. (yeh man) I felt a burn..but it was good.
Presentation: 8 we have another rim boys and girls! lovely cocktail stick, good size glass..slightly straight forward but suits the restaurant.
Overall 8.5 – Very classy bloody! It’s taste was very distinct and I would definitely have one again.
After downing this we were then invited to have a cocktail master class where they taught us to make their signature martinis. (sneaky suspension that they are trying to get me drunk here…)
Then we had a ‘healthy’ cocktail-making competition. Farrah and I don’t do ‘healthy competing ‘
To be fair to Farrah, she did try her hardest but
I won.
I drank my cocktail thinking: this must be how Bolt felt when he won the gold….
We then had a tour of the kitchen where we learnt about the cuts of meat, including Wagyu! I. love. WAGYU! The cows get massaged and stuff all the time so live a lovely life until they end up like this…
I was given the job to cut 250G steaks free hand. wasn’t long till the Chef realised I was happily hacking away at their stock…
so I stuck to my day job and posed.
then tasted some of these…
mmm..
It was time to take my winning cocktail mixing self to dinner…
By this point our crowd of foodies are now also a crowd of drinkies and we were all in the mood for a chat and well all of this…..
Wagyu sliders.
Tuna Sashimi
250G NY Strip
Truffle and Parmesan chips
Mac and Cheese
and finally
Rocky Road.
By the time we finished our last mouthfuls all of us were satisfied that we had experienced STK to the max. However, I have one more task to finish there; on weekends the DJ comes out and ladies are encouraged to take their heels off and stand on the seats to dance after dinner. Though it wouldn’t look (exactly…) like legs on the poster…I still think I may have to take part very soon.
