A Serious Poem About The Caesar Salad

O mighty caesar how i love you so

parmesan, chicken with creamy sauce

all thrown into a lettuce bowl

SONY DSC

a combination of beautiful taste

though not a healthy choice

it’s all too good to waste

SONY DSC

BUT sad times I have had

when the waiter comes to deliver

and you have turned out bad

DSC00250

No bacon, nor egg and a tiny bit of cheese

 dried up cold chicken

have all destroyed my dinner dreams.

SONY DSC

The crushing feeling when all is wrong

 sauce-less naked lettuce

under hard tasteless croutons

SONY DSC

We need hot chicken, poached egg

I want to see the bacon shine

mixed with anchovies and crispy garlic bread

SONY DSC

so Caesar don’t be a tease

when you are the menu

come out the right way please.

Three Best Caesar salads:
